Five Sisters Art House Café @ South Brisbane

Five Sisters Art House Café is hidden nicely near Fish Lane in South Brisbane. I didn’t actually discover this place until last year because you really don’t notice it unless you are strolling on that street and slowly looking at each individual signs on that street. However, when you do take a turn into the alleyway, you are led into a peaceful courtyard area or you can choose to sit inside, where the “Art House” part of the café lies.

This café sells a mainly Greek light meals (haloumi platters, Greek salads, pita wraps), different sorts of Mediterranean salads, and a diverse range of desserts like Baklava, rice pudding, cheesecake, brownies and more!

On top of their interesting menu that has daily specials, they also make good coffee. I ordered a latte and it also came with a nice little piece of biscotti.

I went for the vegetarian gnocchi pasta and the portion size was huge! I couldn’t finish it off!

My friend went for the sweet potato, zucchini and eggplant salad and it was quite appetising.

Overall, the food is good, and I would recommend this café for a relaxing lunch break with a nice cuppa coffee!
